Privacy Policy

Effective October 4, 2026

This policy explains what data the mobile app Dii! (the "App") processes and how we protect it. The App is intended for parents; a child uses it under parental supervision.

1. Who is responsible for the data

Operator and developer: Serhii Krykunov (ex.dp.ua). Privacy contact: krikunov.sergei@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

• Parent account data: email address and password (authentication via Google Firebase Authentication; we do not see your password and it is not stored in plain text).
• Child data: name, age and gender, entered by the parent when setting up the family.
• Photo proof of completed tasks and photos of children and parents that the parent chooses to upload (stored in Google Firebase Storage).
• PRO avatar: if you use the PRO avatar feature, the child's photo is processed by the Google Gemini AI service (see section 3). The resulting avatar is stored in the family account.
• Push notification tokens to deliver messages about new tasks and approvals.
• Subscription status — whether the PRO subscription is active (RevenueCat and Apple). We do not receive or store your payment card details.
• Task and star data: task list, statuses, star balance, chosen prizes.

3. Artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) for the PRO avatar

To create an avatar, the child's photo uploaded by the parent is sent to the Google Gemini API solely to generate the image. According to the API settings and terms, this data is not used to train models. The result (the avatar) is stored in the family account. The feature is optional: do not upload a photo for an avatar if you do not want to use it.

4. Children and parental control (COPPA / GDPR-K)

Children do not create their own accounts. The account belongs to a parent or legal guardian, who enters the child's data, controls it, and can edit or delete it at any time. We do not collect data directly from children outside the parent's account and do not knowingly send marketing messages to children. Only adults may own an account.

5. What we do not do

• We do not show ads.
• We do not track you across apps and websites.
• We do not use third-party analytics.
• We do not sell data or share it with third parties for their own purposes.

6. How we use data

Only to operate the App: authentication, managing the family, tasks and stars, sending notifications, checking subscription status, restoring purchases, support and security. Legal bases (for users in the EU/EEA): performance of a contract (the Terms of Use) and your consent, for example to upload photos.

7. Third-party services that process data

• Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage, push; servers in the US and EU).
• Google Gemini API — PRO avatar generation.
• RevenueCat (US) — subscription management.
• Apple — App Store, payments, push notifications (APNs).

Transfers of data outside your country rely on these providers' standard contractual mechanisms.

8. Retention and deletion

Data is kept as long as the account exists. You can delete your account and all related data (profile, children, tasks, photos, avatars):

• directly in the App: Profile → Delete account, or
• by email to krikunov.sergei@gmail.com.

Deletion is performed immediately and cannot be undone. Cancelling a subscription is done separately in your Apple ID settings (see Support).

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of and port your data, and to withdraw consent (including under the GDPR). Most actions are available in the App; for anything else write to krikunov.sergei@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.

10. Security

Data is transmitted over secure channels (HTTPS/TLS) and stored in Google's infrastructure with access controls: a family can see only its own data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we make reasonable efforts to protect your data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always available on this page with the date at the top. For material changes we will notify you in the App.
